RO(Reverse Osmosis), the basic working principle is : using of a special high pressure pump, increasing pressure to raw water, then force raw water penetrating through reverse osmosis membrane under the pressure. Only water molecules and solvent less than microns
can pass through the RO membrane.

EDI (Electrodeionization) is a revolutionary water treatment technology ,it is a membrane separation desalination technology that skillfully combined the electrodialysis technology and ion exchange technology together ,which is high-tech , green and environmental protection technology. Usually there are three parts: pretreatment, RO machine, and post treatment. Pretreatment could be UF(ultra filtration) system, anti-scale dosing system, flocculant dosing system, disinfectant dosing system, water softener, sand filter, carbon filter, security filter etc. Post treatment could be UV sterilizer, Ozonizer, ClO2 sterilizer, etc. And maybe you need an EDI system.
