What contaminants will RO Water Treatment System remove from the water?
Ro water treatment system can remove up to 99% or more of dissolved salts (ions), particles, colloids, organics, bacteria and pyrogens from feed water (although RO systems should not be relied on to remove 100% of bacteria and viruses). Reverse osmosis membranes filter contaminants according to their size and charge. Any contaminant with a molecular weight greater than 200 is likely to be rejected by a properly functioning reverse osmosis system (water, by contrast, has a molecular weight of 18). Similarly, the higher the ionic charge of the pollutant, the more likely it is not to pass through the RO membrane. For example, sodium ions have only one charge (univalent) and are not repelled by RO membranes like calcium ions, which have two charges. Again, this is why RO systems do not remove gases such as CO2 very well, as they are not highly ionized (charged) and have very low molecular weight in solution. Because the RO system does not remove gases, the pH of the percolated water may be slightly lower than normal as CO2 is converted to carbonic acid, depending on the level of CO2 in the influent.
Ro water treatment system is very effective in treating brackish, surface and ground water with high and low flow rates. Two-stage reverse osmosis pure water treatment systems are used in the production of potable water, food plants, beverage plants, fruit and vegetable plants, industrial examples include pharmaceutical, boiler feed water, food and beverage, metal processing and semiconductor manufacturing, etc. It is pretreated and then RO treated. The machine is integrated into a group, which is easy to assemble and transport. Through these treatments, 99% of dissolved salts and harmful substances, such as particles, colloid, organic impurities, heavy metal ions, bacteria, viruses and heat sources, can be removed.

FAQ:
1. What are the inlet water quality requirements for ro water treatment system membrane components?
Items |
NTU | SDI | Residual chlorine(mg/L) | Fe2+(mg/L) | TOC(mg/L) |
Limits | ≤1 | ≤5 | ≤4 | ≤3 |
2. What is the material of ro water treatment system membrane?
Acetate membrane (CA) : mainly because of its resistance to chlorine, so it is still durable. But its suitable pH range is small, easy hydrolysis
Aromatic polyamide membrane (PA) : water almost can not have chlorine, only through a variety of pretreatment chlorine.
3. RO water treatment system configuration?
First-stage multi-stage process: if the recovery rate is not achieved in the first stage (50-65% in the first stage and 65-75% in the second stage), the multi-stage tandem filtration can be used. The effective cross-sectional area of each segment decreases. 2:2 and 2:3 and 4:2:1
Multi-stage process: when the first stage process cannot meet the effluent quality requirements (the first stage is generally ≤20μs/cm), the product water of the first stage process is sent to another reverse osmosis unit.
The arrangement of membrane components can be divided into series and parallel
4. What is the shell film material and specification of ro water treatment system?
Material of membrane case: stainless steel and fiberglass (FRP)
Specification of membrane shell: four inch membrane shell 4040 (one core to four core)
8 inch membrane case 8040 (one to seven cores)
Water inlet: end water inlet, side water inlet
